Dear Extreme Deadlines Writer: Hello and thank you so much for being willing to write one of my requests! I'm really easy to please and I enjoy anything from "canon but more so" to non-mundane AUs (wrestlers in spaaaaace! Arthurian fusions! Pirates! Go nuts!)
A list of narrative things I love includes: identity play; fluffiness where you’d least expect it; hurt/comfort, regrets and reconciliation; amnesia; enemies being forced to work together; sad stories that somehow manage to end happily. I’d prefer if fic remain kayfabe-compliant--that is, the wrestlers don’t know how matches are going to go.
I’m perfectly happy with gen fic, or with a G or PG romantic fic, or with a PG-13 fade to black story! But if you do decide to go NC-17, things I particularly enjoy include any variety of dubcon (sex pollen, magic rituals, forced into it by an enemy); D/s dynamics where the sub is either very into it or starts reluctant and gets into it; oral sex; handjobs; fealty and praise kink; masturbation; any kind of getting off without actual contact--via voice, phone sex, telepathy, magic, what have you. Cruelty is a turn-off, but people expecting cruelty and getting affection (whether D/s or not) is very nice.
Big DNWs include infidelity and open relationships (please just assume this is a world in which any married wrestlers never got married in shippy fic); rape and non-con; anything where one person is humiliated or treated cruelly and doesn't enjoy it, scat and watersports.

AEW, Kris Statlander. I want worldbuilding with Kris so badly! How did an alien come to earth and why did she become a pro wrestler? Feel free to fuse or cross over AEW with any scifi canon of your heart--Orange and the Best Friends in space would be so much fun. I ship her with Orange (of course), but either shippy or gen fic would be grand.
AEW, Eddie Kingston (and Jon Moxley). Anything exploring Mox's partnership with Eddie and/or contrasting it with his relationship with Roman or Seth sounds so delicious. I want to know Mox's opinions about the weird places his Shield-brothers are in now! How do Mox and Eddie feel about gunning for the tag team titles? How will they feel if they win them? How did the conversation after Eddie "saved him" go? Eddie's thoughts about Mox as a father, Jon's fears and excitement about it, all good. I can ship Jon with Eddie, Seth, or Roman, but not if they happen at the same time as his relationship with Renee--past tense or simply avoid Renee's existence, please.
AEW, John Silver. This is really more of a general Dark Order prompt, but he's probably my favorite member so let's start there. The transition from evil cult to group of goofy friends is fascinating and I would love to see that from the POV of one of the members. Brodie Lee's death is canon so feel free to write about it, though I'm not sure I'm up for the sadness of a story focused entirely on that pain. Really anything that's Dark-Order focused would be great: the Order (probably incompetently) plays matchmaker to get Stu and Anna together; a future fic where Page finally wins the top title and everyone celebrates; a story about how Five finally wins everyone over. If you're in a fusion mood, the Dark Order as pirates who've lost their captain and desperately need another might be fun.
WWE, Xia Li. They spent a lot of time on Xia's breaking down and transformation into a killing machine, and I'd love to see that from her point of view, whether at a gen or explicit level (a lot of possibilities for dubcon there, of course). Does she still have doubts or are they totally burned away? What kind of leader/mentor/mistress is Mei Ying? Can Xia Li be saved? Does she want to be anymore? (If you leave gen territory, I ship her a lot more with Mei Ying than with Boa, but threesomes are good here).
WWE, Roman Reigns. Roman has always been great, but lately he's been on another level. I love the melancholy lurking behind his heel persona, the way his sense of duty and responsibility has crushed his soul and forces him now to crush (and enjoy crushing, in a twisted way) the souls of his cousins. Anything exploring his inner thoughts would be great, and I would love to see an exploration of his relationships with Jey and Jimmy. If you want an AU, this seems a prime opportunity for a Mafia AU, since it really feels like that's what they're tapping into. If you're so inclined, please feel free to drag in Dean (in an AU or an alternate-history where, maybe, Dean stayed and gets drawn into this mess along with Roman) or Jon Moxley (what does he think of this? Does he approve? Does he try to intervene?)
WWE, Indi Hartwell; Dexter Lumis. Indi and Dexter are so much fun. If you are willing to write them I just want more of canon rather than something explicit--more misunderstandings and Indi acting like a schoolgirl and Dexter being deeply smitten and unable to express it at all, and the rest of the Way desperately trying to keep them apart. Feel free to dig into some worldbuilding on Dexter--what the heck is his deal? Is he actually a serial killer? Where did he learn to draw? If you're not here for the InDex anything with her and Candice enjoying being tag champs would be great, or hijinks with the Way (how do they respond to Johnny losing his title?) I don't tend to ship her with any member of the Way, but some light-hearted found family would be fun.
NJPW, ZSJ/Taichi. I never would have predicted being super into these guys, but I really, really am. Anything having fun with the supernatural hints of the Iron Fingers is wonderful--does Zack have to do something to break their hold on him? Taichi injuring Zack in a fugue state and feeling horrible and lots of hurt/comfort (physical and mental)? I also love AU ideas with them, because they're so deadly serious on the surface but secretly goofy underneath--Mafia AUs, Great British Bakeoff crossovers, a fusion with any cheesy romance of your choice, it's all good! You can touch on the recent positive COVID results and the canceled shows, but please don't give anyone specific COVID and write about that.
NJPW, Hiromu. It's been a hard year so far for Hiromu. What does he think of Will's injury, of Naito losing his titles, of his own injury? He seemed to be going pretty stir-crazy when we saw him at ringside.
